Artistic Subversion: Setting the Conditions of Display

A Colloquium for Young Researchers

We are pleased to announce the Young Researchers' Colloquium 'Artistic Subversion: Setting the Conditions of Display' to take place on February 2nd. In connection with the Stedelijk Museum's, 'Lose Yourself! A Symposium on Labyrinthine Exhibitions' (Feb.3-4), this Young Researcher's Colloquium will bring together international researchers to consider the diverse strategies artists employ to confront and navigate the strictures placed upon art, and the limiting structures of its presentation. Following paper presentations and moderated discussions, Angela Dimitrakaki and Kirsten Lloyd from the University of Edinburgh will offer a joint keynote address.

Please find the full program of the colloquium here.

Attendance is free, registration mandatory. Please send your name and affiliation to vuartandculture@gmail.com by January 23.
