Tamarinde Haven has a background in psychology, philosophy and epidemiology. Against the backlash of threats to reproducibility and awareness of current rates of research misbehavior, Tamarinde’s research focuses on research integrity. As part of that, she focuses on initiatives that have been developed to better academic science, one of which is quantitative study preregistration. Tamarinde, together with Leonie van Grootel (TiU), has written a conceptual paper on the possibility of qualitative study preregistration. She will stay at the Center for Open Science (USA, Virginia) for 3 months and carry out a Delphi study to attain consensus among qualitative scholars on what a qualitative study preregistration should look like.
